Simon Woodroffe was inspired by Japanese Capsule Hotels. Combined with the look of an airline sleeper, he came up with the idea for YOTEL. He has even used the language of business class airlines to name the rooms - Premium or Standard Cabins.
The first hotels have been launched at the London Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, where space is at a premium. What a great way to get some shut-eye before your connector flight.
