Thought this was pretty clever and interesting.

Cell Watch

Well......several companies have released cell phone watches in the last few years. To be honest, most look like trash.

Finally a company has released a somewhat cool looking watch that doesn't make you look like a third grader with a toy watch.

Not only is it better looking then most it also boasts a camera and supposedly water proof as well.

SURPRISINGGIFT  has it for sale at $299.

Not sure if I would jump on this, but definitely a step in the right direction for all you Dick Tracy wannabee's out there.

The simple graphics work really with the name of the fragrance. I give this packaging a thumbs up.  I wonder if the scent is how I imagine it to be?

 

Innovative Beverage

This packaging is bright and bold and makes you take a second look. BUT what intrigued me the most is the concept behind the ACTIVATE vitamins drink.  The drink's vitamins and herbs are stored as powder in a chamber inside the cap. When you twist the cap clockwise, a small plastic blade cuts the seal in the chamber allowing the ingredients to drop into the water below. Not only does that look cool - but it keeps the healthy ingredients fresh until the moment they are released.

Creative Navigation

 

As I am always looking for inspirations, I ran into a portfolio of an interactive media designer and was kind of impressed with the creative navigation that runs the site. It's not really my style, but I think it is very neat!

KEEN BOOTS ON THE BRUCE

Check out KEEN Boots On The Bruce. This is a great example of taking the brands' mission and philosophy and making it into a marketing campaign.

KEEN is a brand about making a difference.  Their HybridLife slogan is CREATE. PLAY. CARE.  The Boots On The Bruce highlights all three. PLAY in the outdoors and discover the beauty of the Bruce Trail. CREATE in the outdoors and upload photos taken on the hike. CARE about the outdoors. KEEN Canada is donating $5 for every boot that walks the trail this summer.

KEEN didn't want to just write a cheque to the Bruce Trail Conservancy - they wanted to make it more interactive and educate the community at the same time.

The target goal is 10,000 boots on the trail, so if you live in the GTA - get out there and help make that happen.

Design & The Elastic Mind

Love this site. I rarely say such things when there's hardly any color involved. The structure and the navigation system behind this is very different and creative. Although can be confusing if you are not a web savvy viewer (don't send your parents to this site!!)
