Here's something we all have come across in our lives at least once. For some, its a collection, for some its an inspiration, others its an expression of taste.
Check out Gigposters.com - A site devoted to showcasing poster designs for the music industry. I spent a few hours looking through the different styles and seeing how it expresses either a message of a band or artist and the rendering through an artists eyes.
Its interesting to see the new brands of wine the last few years because the labels have become so modern and so different from what most people would expect to see.
This 2006 South Australian Shiraz was named for SMS and Internet acronyms. With its bold and daring name—both a social commentary about how technology and politics consume daily life and a statement of the richness and magnitude of the wine’s flavor—the client wanted a label that would appeal to a young demographic that shops online. The label, designed by Los Angeles-based Braveland Design, is inspired by pixel text and symbols of modern products. It's hopefully a reminder for people to relax—and drink wine.
I think in this cases the government in EU is getting a bit carried away with there idea's of informing the public.
We have all scene the cigar boxes with the nasty pics of rotting teeth and the "baby killer" tag lines, well it seems that in Europe they want car companies to do the same by indicating MPG and polution lvl's for each vehicle.
I think in this case it is getting a little out of hand.
I'll be interested to see how advertising firms over there work around this in the up coming months if this indeed is passed through.
A pretty cool way to add a touch of elegance and design to your floors. This design concept allows for the application of any pattern to the surface, either when pouring or afterwards when the concrete has set. Although, I'm not too sure if I would want to be walking on that surface barefoot on a cold winter night - or any night for that matter.

I always like tech toys and this one seems to blend interior design and tech toys in one.
This is a functioning CD/DVD player with a trick control panel integrated right into the frame and a disc storage carousel located in the base of the table.
Also a pretty cool way to store all your 80's dance cd's out in the open.
Here is a cool art piece I came across today.
Erik Nordenankar, with the help of DHL has come up with a crazy idea to combine technology and art to create a self portrait that spans 6 continents and 62 countries.
The concept was simple but badass, place a GPS device in a briefcase and mail it via DHL with precise travel instructions over the course of a 55 day period. When all was said and done, the GPS data formed a virtual self-portrait of the artist.
Very cool unique concept.
I love this elegant design. It's rather complex yet simple in certain ways. Very well done, creative and detailed!
Stuart Weitzman's Madison Avenue flagship will undergo a complete interior renovation (starting this sunday) masterminded by Italian architect Fabio Novembre, whose ribbon concept will eventually appear in the majority of Stuart Weitzman stores globally.
